Text Permit Desk

Get your business approved to send text messages in the US. We prepare and file your texting registration (the brand and campaign registration carriers call A2P 10DLC), fix what reviewers reject, and resubmit until it is approved.

Why this matters

Unregistered business texts get blocked

Texts do not arrive

Since September 1, 2023, Twilio blocks texts to US phones from regular 10-digit business numbers that are not registered.

Rejections are vague

A rejection usually comes back as one short line, such as "invalid sample message content," and you are left to guess what to change.

Your website gets checked

Reviewers compare your registration with your website, your sign-up form and your privacy policy. A mismatch is enough to be turned down.

How it works

You fill in one form. We do the rest.

  1. Fill in the form. Your business details exactly as they appear on your IRS EIN paperwork, your website, how customers agree to get texts, and a few examples of texts you send.
  2. We check it before anything is filed. Every example text, your consent wording, your privacy policy and your sign-up page, against the reasons reviewers reject registrations.
  3. You get a short fix list, if needed. Plain-language changes with wording you can paste in. If your site has no privacy policy or texting terms, we write them for your business so you can publish them.
  4. We file it. Your brand and campaign are submitted in your own Twilio account, so Twilio bills its registration fees to you directly.
  5. We watch it and resubmit. If reviewers send it back, we fix the cause and resubmit. Resubmissions are included.
  6. You get the paperwork. A copy of everything that was submitted, for your records.

What is included

  • Brand registration (who you are) and one campaign registration (what you text)
  • Campaign description and two to five example texts written to match what you actually send
  • Consent wording for your sign-up form, plus the confirmation, HELP and STOP replies
  • A privacy policy and texting terms page written for your business, if you need them
  • A check of every example text for length, links and missing details
  • Resubmissions until approved, or a clear explanation if your use case cannot be approved

What you provide

  • Legal business name, EIN and address, exactly as on your IRS letter (sole proprietors can register without an EIN)
  • A live, public website that shows your business name
  • What kind of texts you send and a few examples
  • How customers agree to get texts (a web form, a paper form, by phone or by texting a keyword)
  • A Twilio account in your business name with your own payment method under Billing, and access for us to it (we can help you open one)
  • About 15 minutes to read and approve the final wording

We never ask for your customer list.

Carrier and registry fees

Twilio charges these to the payment method in your own Twilio account when we submit. We never pay them for you or pass them through, and we do not mark them up. They are owed to Twilio even if a registration is not approved. As listed by Twilio on October 11, 2026 (they change, so check your provider's current page):

Your phone number rental and per-message charges are separate.

Timeline

Our part and the carriers' part

Our part

Up to 4 business days of our work: 2 to prepare your packet and send any fix list, 1 to make fixes once you send what we asked for, and 1 to submit. If a registration is rejected, we resubmit within 1 business day.

The carriers' part

Twilio's vetting help article says campaign vetting takes up to 5 business days for standard use cases, and its registration quickstart currently says campaign reviews take 10 to 15 days. Each resubmission is a new review. Carrier review time is not part of our 4 days, and we cannot speed it up.

Questions

Common questions

What is A2P 10DLC?

It is the name carriers use for texts sent by a business system from a regular local 10-digit number. US carriers require businesses to register who they are (the brand) and what they send (the campaign) before those texts are delivered.

Can you guarantee approval?

No. The decision belongs to the carriers, The Campaign Registry and your texting provider. What we promise is careful preparation and resubmissions until it is approved, or a clear answer if it cannot be. You pay only after approval.

When do I pay you?

After the carriers approve your registration. We send one invoice for $249, due in 15 days. If it cannot be approved, you owe us nothing.

Who pays Twilio's registration fees?

You do, directly. Before we submit, your Twilio account needs your own payment method under Billing, and Twilio charges the brand, vetting and campaign fees to it. We never pay those fees for you or add them to our invoice. Twilio's fees are not refunded if a registration is rejected, which is one reason we check everything before submitting.

What if my business cannot be approved?

Some content is not allowed on regular business numbers at all, for example cannabis, alcohol, firearms, tobacco, gambling or certain loans. If that is you, we will tell you up front and not charge you.

Do I need a website and a privacy policy?

Plan on yes. Reviewers check that your website is live, public and shows your business. Your privacy policy has to say you do not share mobile numbers. If you do not have these pages, we write them for you to publish.

Which texting providers do you work with?

Twilio, and tools built on Twilio.

Should I use a toll-free number instead?

Toll-free numbers need their own verification. We focus on regular local numbers; if toll-free fits you better, we will tell you.

Do you need my customer list?

No. We need your business details, how people sign up and the texts you send, never your contacts.

Is this legal advice?

No. We prepare your registration and check it against published carrier and provider requirements. For legal questions about texting laws, talk to a lawyer.

Ready to get your texts approved?

The form takes about 15 minutes. Have your EIN letter handy.
